Hyundai reveals all-new 2015 Sonata

Hyundai has revealed the all-new 2015 Hyundai Sonata in South Korea a few days ago. The 2015 Sonata retains Hyundai's "fluidic design sculpture" which changed the perception of the brand when it first launched the sixth-generation in 2009.

With this new Sonata comes Hyundai's signature hexagonal grille, LED daytime running lights and a body that is 35 mm longer and 30 mm wider than the previous Sonata.

New safety features include blind spot information, lane departure warning and advanced smart cruise control. Other features include parking sensors and heated seats. More info on the features when it is launched in the Philippines.

The 2015 Sonata will be powered by a 2.0L four cylinder CVVL engine with 166 horsepower and 201 Nm of torque, a 2.0L four cylinder LPi engine with 149 horsepower and 194 Nm of torque or a 2.4L four cylinder GDi engine with 190 horsepower and 247 Nm of torque.

The Hyundai Sonata competes directly with the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and Mazda6.
