The all-new 4th generation Honda City was quietly revealed in India with all-new styling, a bigger body, an updated engine and another new engine for the Indian market.
The new Honda City carries Honda's "Exciting H Design" which was first shown on the 3rd generation Honda Fit (or Jazz locally).
The vehicle will be offered with an updated 1.5L four cylinder gasoline engine and a new 1.5L i-DTEC engine with Honda's Earth Dreams Technology. It will be the first time a diesel engine will be available with the car.
The new City will be first launched in India in January 2014 with production in Malaysia and Thailand beginning soon as well.
The Honda City is sold in over 55 countries worldwide and is one of Honda's successful offerings. It competes directly with the Toyota Vios and Ford Fiesta.
