Honda launches all-new Accord in PH

A year after it was launched in the United States, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. finally launched the all-new 2014 Honda Accord. The 9th generation Accord features new styling, some new tech features and a new engine which has Honda's new "Earth Dreams" technology.

The all-new Accord is available with two variants which are 2.4S and 3.5S-V. The Accord is powered by either a 2.4L four cylinder i-VTEC engine with 173 hp and 226 Nm of torque mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission or a 3.5L V6 engine with 277 hp and 339 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Outside, the Accord features LED headlights with LED daytime running lights and cornering lights, front foglights, 17-inch alloy wheels (which are actually from the Accord Coupé from other markets), LED taillights, LED turn-signal indicators on the rear-view mirrors.

Inside, the Accord also has a completely new black leather interior with gray fake wood accents, a multi-view reverse camera, and an 8-inch iMID screen.

Other features include push-button start with smart entry, front and rear parking sensors, bluetooth, rear sunshades, paddle shifters and Honda's ECON button which will be on every future model.

The all-new 2014 Honda Accord is priced at Php 1,720,000 for the 2.4S and Php 2,097,000 for the 3.5 S-V.
